Obituary of Romeo Lanctot
Entered into rest with family by his side on December 4, 2021. Romeo Lanctot of Brockville age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Gwen (Hockey) Lanctot. Loving father of Dennis Lanctot (Dianne), Connie Aimer (Dave), Joanne Sine (Ken) and Dale Lanctot (Tina). Cherished grandfather of Mitchell, Jonathan, Cara, Matthew, Melissa, Jessica, Danielle, Curtis, Shauntel, Jacob and Morgan. Romeo is survived by several Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well as his loving companion Barbara Deir. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Albina (Carbonneau) Lanctot, sisters Claire Laming and Jeannine Brennan and his brother Albert Lanctot.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Friday December 10, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memory of Romeo, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Brockville Winter Classic. would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
Due to the COVID restrictions, please call the Funeral Home at 613-342-2792 if you would like to attend the Visitation and/or the Funeral Liturgy as there is a limit to how many people can be in the facilities at a time. Everyone must wear a mask indoors.
