Obituary for
Roma Faubert
It is with deep sadness that the Faubert family announces the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and educator. Following a long illness, Roma passed away peacefully on June 2, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline (Bourgeois), his son Gilles (Kara Plouffe) and his daughter Ginette (Dan Atkins), his grandchildren Samuel, Alexandre, Thierry, Nicholas, Caroline, Jack and Ella, his brother Gérard (Betty), his sister Gisèle Tremblay (André), his sister-in-law Ida (late Jean-Guy) and his daughters-in-law Tracey, Marnee and Francine. He was predeceased by his son Yves, his parents Arthur and Estelle (Leclair), his brother Jean-Guy and his sister Marielle Beaudry. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. As a member of the community in the Dowling, Chelmsford and Azilda area, he had the opportunity to meet many people and make lasting friendships. In honour of his commitment to development of youth through sports, in lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in his name to jumpstart.canadiantire.ca. Due to Covid restrictions, a celebration will be held at Maple Crest Cemetery in Onaping Falls at a later date. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
