LABBE, ROGER JOSEPH – It is with profound sadness that the family of Roger Joseph Labbe announces his sudden passing on Friday November 5, 2021 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Huguette Labbe nee Tardif. Loving father of Ginette Thibault (Henri) and Raymond Labbe (Dana). Cherished grandfather of Malina Oliver (Todd), Daren Labbe (Tara Schooley), Stephane Thibault, and Brittany Froats (Bryce). Adoring great grandfather of Gavin, Genevieve, Giana, Bryce, Amelia, Charlotte and Nash. Dear brother of Louis Labbe (late Jeanine), Louisette Fortier (late Gabriel) (Maurice Gobbout), Ghislaine Beaupre ( Jean-Claude ) Jean-Claude Labbe (Monique Roy), Marcel Labbe (Gisele Labrie), Marie-Blanche Gosselin (Roland), Emile Labbe (late Francine Saindon) (Yolande Rousseau), Denis Labbe (Suzanne Gingras), Denise Latterreur Berube, (Jacques), Monique Gauthier (Adrien), Gabriel Labbe (Marie-Ann Henri) and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws on the Tardif side of the family, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adelard and Marie-Ange Labbe. Roger worked as a roofer for most of his life making a career change later on as a custodian for the French Public School Board. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was happiest being with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. As per Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
