Obituary of Robert Gerald Armstrong
The family of Robert Armstrong announces his passing on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his residence in Shannex- Embassy Hall. Born May 10, 1936 in Gagetown, NB, he was a son of the late Kirby and Nora Armstrong (nee McKay). He was predeceased by his wife, Donna M. Armstrong (nee Blaney), and his brother, Richard Armstrong.
Robert is survived by his sons, Robert of Hampton, NB, Stephen of Halifax, NS, Michael of Hampton, NB, Wade of Saint John, NB, Dwayne of Dartmouth, NS, Scott of Lexington, SC, and Neil of Evergreen, CO; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and sister, Elizabeth Pappas (nee Armstrong). The family is most appreciative to his loving companion and compassionate caregiver, Erna Martin.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). In keeping with Robert’s wishes, a private family service will be held, and visiting hours will not be held.   1. So sorry to hear about your dad. My sincere condolences to Robert, Steve (George), Mike, Wade (Wee Wee), Dwayne (Lou, Lou), Neil and Scott. I remember coming out to your house in Rothesay from the Westside. Big trip back then. We would have fun running around playing in that big house and playing ping pong in the Rec room. Your mom and dad always treated me so nice. Love Wayne 💜💜
