Obituary of Robert Blair Goodfellow
It is with great sadness that Bob’s family share the passing of their much loved husband, father and papa. Bob put up a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer continuing to stay active enjoying golf and many fun filled family gatherings despite covid. His kind and gentle nature will be missed by many.
He was born in Burdette Alberta and moved to Ontario to become a grape grower in the Jordan area. He never shied away from a challenge taking up downhill skiing in his fifties, and golfing in his sixties (to humour his wife), establishing a new business (Goodfellow Paint and Paper), and later trucking water where he enjoyed meeting many people. He was also the ton at Welland Ave United Church for many years.
He was much loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Janet and children Kathleen (Jeff) Moyer, Margaret (Pernell) Franz, Donald (Darlene) Goodfellow, David (Lindsay) Goodfellow, Sarah (Bryan) Morrison, and Rachael (Patrick) Jones. He was the proud and greatly loved Papa of Mary, Tanner, Mackenzie, Ryleigh, Kaitlyn, Owen, Connor, Liam, Abigail, Nicholas, Liam, Hannah and Robbie. He leaves behind his two brothers Bill and Bert Goodfellow and is predeceased by his parents Owen and Edith.
Cremation arrangements have been made with Tallman’s funeral services and a celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to thank St. Elizabeth’s nurses, particularly Shaniah whose care was greatly appreciated as well as the palliative care team at McNally.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert
