Robert A Bob Turner 1947 2021

Obituary of Robert A. Turner
Bob was born on November 5, 1947. He passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Monday, June 28, 2021. He leaves behind his loving partner Nancy Sjonger “aka Wilson” and his children Jon Turner (Tanya) and Shannon Turner (Dan Murphy). He was an amazing Papa and best friend to his “Stinkworms” Marissa and Liam. Fondly remembered by the Sjonger family and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife Dale, his parents John and Joan Turner, his brother Eric Turner and sister Wendy Jackson (Jimmy).
Bob was a man who was loved by anyone he met. His infectious smile and amazing sense of humour made him the life of the party. After a 30 year career at LCBO, Bob retired to pursue his hobbies and passions. To say he was a man of many talents would be an understatement. He was passionate about golf (CGTF certified instructor), playing guitar, calligraphy, woodworking, baseball, fishing, bird watching and most of all – his family. He will be truly missed by all! Thank you for all of the support from family and friends and a special thank you to Dr. Erica Thompson and his amazing nurses Colin Surgeoner and Cheryl Corcoran.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the family compound (Loughborough Lake). Interment will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery in Battersea at a later date. For those desiring, memorial donations to Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0. Please share your memories and condolences to the family through this memorial page.
