In loving memory of Robert William Moir who passed away on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at St.
Gabriel’s Villa, Chelmsford at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Claudette Moir (nee Sauve) predeceased 2018. Loving father of Shelley Moir, Kim Sherman, and Joanne Popowich (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Lana and Joshua. Predeceased by his parents Clayton and Carmel Moir and siblings Glenna (Darwin), Winston (Marlene) and Gary (Cheryl) and Lorraine. Dear brother of Wayne (Rose). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. An avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed fishing, skiing, hunting, biking, badminton, and kayaking. He spent many years at his camp, which he built in 1969. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St Gabe’s for their care of their father over the last 3 years, but especially during his last week. Their love for him really showed during his final hours! At his request, there will be no visitation. Cremation with burial of ashes at Maplecrest Cemetery on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 at 11am. A celebration of life will be held at the Onaping Legion Branch 503, 3 St James St, Onaping from 1-3pm after the burial. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
