JONES, Robert Raymond “Bob and Jonesy” (Transport Truck Driver – Erb Transport 21 years)…passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 8th, 2021 at the age of 61 years. Loving husband of Susan Jones (nee Bell). Cherished father of Melissa Hicks (Dan), Lisa Lueck (Michael) and Robert Jones Jr. (Shannon). Proud Grandpa & Papa to Emma, Madison, Sophia, Blaire, Reese, Colton and Ella. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings; Dave Jones (Karen), Susan Lloyd (Ray), Wendy Jones, Larry Jones (Janice), Gordon Jones (Geri Smith), his brothers and sisters in law; Steve Bell (Erica), Bonnie Forbes (Garry), Keith Bell (Patricia), Judy Bell, Ed Bell, Liane Nordquist (Frank) and his many nieces and nephews. He is the son of the late Robert & Jean Jones and son-in-law of the late Edgar & Gloria Bell. He loved his family so deeply. Making his family happy, seeing them smile and spending time with his loved ones brought the greatest joy to his life. In all his years he gave them all of his love. He will be greatly missed and forever in their hearts.
Visitation will be held at Weaver – 29 Bay St., Trenton on Tuesday December 14th, 2021 from 4-6 pm. A private family service will follow at 6:15pm. A live stream of the service will be available via a link on Bob’s website listing at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com. Due to capacity limitations under the current COVID guidelines, we ask that guests RSVP at rsvp@weaverfuneralhomes.com or by calling (613) 394-2433 during regular business hours. Guests will be required to wear masks, maintain social distancing and provide information for contact tracing.
