It is with
great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert
George Marston, of Canterbury, on November 12, 2021 at the Upper River
Valley Hospital in Waterville New Brunswick at the age of
84.
Robert was
born April 9, 1937, to the late Hazel (Leighton) and Merritt
Marston in Skiff Lake New Brunswick.
He is survived
by his wife Sandra (English) Marston, his children Nancy
McKinney, Susan Woodland (Paul), Wayne Marston, Barbara Grant
(Robert), step daughters Julie Atkinson (Mike) and Cheryl Atkinson
(Kean), his grandchildren Marcia, Daphne, William, Melinda, Adam,
Scott, Matt, Joey, Justin, Jamie, Kelsey, Jordan,
Melany, Mellissa and Robbie, and his
step-grandchildren Tyler, Bryan, Jayme and Ronnie, his sister Carol
Palmer (Blake), in-laws Gerry (Elaine) English, Bobby English, Linda
Cougle, Brian English (Dorothy) and Lori (David) Campbell, and many
great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Robert is
predeceased by his parents Hazel and Merritt, his infants sons Stephen
and Joseph, his first wife Winnie (MacMillan) Marston, his siblings
Audrey Stanley and Gary Marston and his son-in-law Ardene McKinney.
Visitation and
funeral for Robert will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home on
Sunday, November 14 at 12pm, followed by the funeral service at 1
pm.
Interment will
be held at the Saint Mary the Virgin Cemetery in Benton on Sunday
following the funeral service.
If so desired,
a donation can be made in Robert’s memory to the Alzheimer
Society.
Due to
provincial regulation, proof of vaccination and I.D. is required to
attend the visitation and service.
