Robert Craig Jackson
Jackson, Robert Craig – Age 55, Truro, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Truro, he was the son of Carol Lorena (Higgins) and the late Robert Thomas Jackson.
As a child, he loved to visit his grandparents in Westchester where he caught many fish with his grandfather. He loved working with his hands and carpentry. Robert was very talented drummer and musician. He was a true Montreal Canadiens fan. He was very dependable and could always be counted on by his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his mother, Carol; sister, Nancy Lynn Jackson, Westchester Station; aunts, Beryle Slater, Dorothy Roode and Gloria Martin as well as several cousins.
Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Cheques and money orders can be mailed to P.O. Box 280, Manotick, Ontario, K4M 1A3.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9th from 1pm until time of service at 2pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS with Pastor Linda Fillmore officiating. COVID-19 restrictions in place. Proof of full vaccination with ID required. Webcasting of the service will begin at 1:58pm (Atlantic Time) and is available along with online condolences by visiting www.ColchesterCommunity.com
