Robert ‘Bob’ Wilson
1960-2021
Robert Gordon “Bob” Wilson. It with great
sadness that the family announces that Bob climbed the “stairway
to Heaven” on June 8, 2021 at the age of 61. He lived
in Trenton his entire life. He was the son of the late beloved Gordie
and Aggie Wilson.
Bob will be forever remembered by his son, Daniel Wilson,
Dartmouth; sister, Barb (Joe) Malacarne, Midland, Ontario; special
sister, Marie (Pete) Goodfellow, Dartmouth; Barb’s step children,
Alex, Jess and Elizabeth (Bitty); special nephew, Scott (Brenda)
Goodfellow, Bridgewater; special niece, Shannon (Darren) Ritchie,
Dartmouth; and truly unconditional “always there for him”
extended family, Bonnie Jean Campbell and Gary Perry,
Trenton.
To say that Bob loved music is an understatement, it was a
passion, an obsession and he could sing and play every genre. He was
also and perhaps equally passionate and obsessed with his love of
motorcycles. He was an avid reader and writer. He had a brilliant mind
that never stopped. He could make you laugh with just a word or an
expression.
In the last few years, Bob found Jesus and became a
born-again Christian with the help of The Gospel Hall in New
Glasgow. It gave him strength, peace and serenity. He was
given incredible support within these walls.
A very special thank you to Eddie and Peggy Linden. You are
angels on Earth.
The family would also like to acknowledge everyone at the
Aberdeen Hospital for all your care and attention over the years. We
are very Thankful!
Cremation has taken place under the care of R.H. Porter
Funeral Home. At this time, there will be no visitation or service.
The family will have a private memorial at a later date. Donations may
be made to The Gospel Hall, 454 South Frederick St., New Glasgow, NS,
B2H 9Z9.
John 3:16 For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
