Obituary for
Robert (Bob) Walter Houle
HOULE, Robert (Bob) Walter March 17, 1931 – January 6, 2021. Born and raised in Midland, Ontario. Passed away in the Welland Hospital. After 65 years of marriage, he leaves behind his wife Betty (nee Walker), son Robbie, twins Michelle and Michael, sisters Charlotte (Gerhard) and Karen (Tom). Grandchildren Ryan, Amanda, Jordan and Alex. Great grandchildren Brayden, Jordan, Ryan and Tori. Sisters-in-law Jane (Greg), Judy, Nelda and Gail. Predeceased by his parents Elsie and Walter Houle, grandson Danny Houle, sisters-in-law Belle (George), Joan (Gary), brothers-in-law Dave Walker and Rick Walker and his mother and father-in-law Mary and Cecil Walker. Bob was a very nice person and he was loved by many. His nieces and nephews loved his sense of humour. He built, with the help of family and friends, “Houliday Inn” on Parry Island. For 55 years, he and his family enjoyed “the cottage”. Over the years family, friends, nieces and nephews, our kids’ friends, our grandchildrens friends also enjoyed time there. It was a humble but heavenly place on Georgian Bay. To all those visitors, Bob would surely say, “Thanks for the Memories”. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
