Robert Arthur “Bob” Murray
1941-2021
Peacefully, in his
sleep at home in St. Thomas on Thursday, March 25, 2021, Robert
“Bob” Murray, formerly of Belmont, passed away at the age of
79.
Beloved husband of 56
years to Joan Murray (née Smith). Survived by son Scot
(Genevieve) and his children Colin and Mariah, daughter Kristine
(Stacy) and their children Rob, Josh and Meagan. Dear brother of Jim
(Ava), Karen McDonald and Sandra Ellis (Ed). Deeply missed by his
beagle friend Rocky. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Arthur
“Jim” Murray & Mary Murray (née
Thompson).
Bob was a
lifetime member of the Elgin County Beagle Club and will be fondly
remembered by all those who knew him.
Cremation has taken
place.
A private family burial
of ashes will take place at Woodland Cemetery, London,
Ontario.
Those who wish may make
memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or a charity of choice
in memory of Bob.
Arrangements entrusted
to Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road,
London, Ontario (519-451-9350).
