Robert Angell June 29 2021

Obituary
Angell, Robert John Spavin
Robert Angell was born on January 28, 1933 and passed away at home on June 29, 2021 at the age of 88 while enjoying a lovely summer evening with Fay, his wife of nearly 60 years. Robert was born in Rose Valley, SK and grew up on the farm just West of there and on the homestead East of Archerwill, SK on the banks of the Red Deer River. While the farm was a constant, Robert also taught school, started and ran sawmills, and was a carpenter – doing what was needed to provide for his family.
Robert married Fay Elaine Cameron from Beechy on a scorching hot July 9th in 1961. They had four boys: Robert Ian (Barb); Dale Edward (Pam); Albert Dean (Pam), and Michael George (Patricio) – and raised them on the farm North of Archerwill where Robert and Fay lived until 2002 when they retired to Saskatoon. Robert is survived by his sister, Florence Haggart, who just turned 100 and Alverna West, 94. He will be missed by many for his wit, wisdom, faith, fudge and “rickety uncle”, his epic oatmeal squares. He will be greatly missed by all four boys and their families including seven grandchildren (Robert John, Zarina, Micah, Sharaya, Kaden, Kash and Jenifer), and Kylen, the first great grandchild born in 2020 to Kaden and Justine.
Robert will be buried at the Dovre Lutheran Cemetery near Rose Valley and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements in care of David Schurr – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
