Whitenect, Robert Andrew – Age 72, of Elderbank, passed away November 10, 2021 in Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour.
Born in Murchyville, he was a son of the late John and Alice (Mitchell) Whitenect.
Robert loved music, playing guitar, watching sports (Blue Jays and Maple Leafs), and making people laugh. He enjoyed being at a bonfire with his family and friends, and spending time with his cherished grandchildren.
He will always be loved and missed by his wife, Donna (Frame); sons, Robert Andrew Jr. and James (Joan); Donna’s children, Jennifer (Todd), Michael, Lisa (Andrew), Cheryl (Allan); grandchildren, Kristen, RJ, Bradley, Ashley, Emily, Felicity, Cohen, Meghan, Cody, Peter; great-grandchildren, Cohen and Scarlett Jean; brothers, David (Minnie), John (Donna), Donald (Elaine), Terry (Julie); sisters, Joy, June (Gary), Diane; sister-in-law, Janet; brother-in-law, Merle; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Bonita and Shirley; brother, Dale; nephew Dean.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MADD Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
Special thanks to Linda and Laurie Leedham for always being there and to the staff of Twin Oaks for their compassionate care.
