Rita Manuel
1926-2021
Rita Manuel of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at the
Victoria Glen Manor on September 12, 2021.
Rita was born in Baie Ste-Anne, NB, on November 14, 1926. She was the
daughter of the late Henry and Annie Jimmo. Rita leaves behind her
daughters, Pearl Gallant (Raymond) of Neguac, NB, Barbara Caldwell
(Malcolm) of Woodstock, NB, Karen MacKellar (Collin) of Arthurette,
NB; her son, Richard Manuel (Zella) of Baie Ste-Anne, NB; her sister,
Mabel Alain of Neguac, NB; along with 15 grandchildren, numerous great
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rita was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Clement Manuel; her
son, Donnie Manuel; her daughter, Christine Donovan; her
granddaughter, Jessica Williams; along with several siblings.
A memorial service celebrating Rita’s life will be held at the Tobique
Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11 am.
Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment will follow in St. Thomas
Aquinas Catholic Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the
family.
