On September 10, 2021, Mrs. Hendrikje “Rita” Bruins of Elk Point passed away at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her children, Henry (Dawn) & Rita (Dennis) Kyncl; 8 grandchildren, Jackie (Jay), Joan (Ken), Kevin (Nancy), Tracey (Ken), Jaylynn (Alvin), Harvey “Tas” (Arlene), Sandra (Mario) & Michael (Bailey); 48 great-grandchildren & their mates; 25 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews & other relatives here & in Holland. Mrs. Bruins was predeceased by her husband, John; numerous brothers & sisters. As per Rita’s wishes a family gathering will be held to celebrate her life with inurnment in Elk Point Western Cemetery, Elk Point. Cremation has taken place.
