Obituary of Richard Leonard Bourgeois
Unexpectedly in Ottawa, on Monday, April 19, 2021, Rick Bourgeois, formerly of Oneida Nation of the Thames in his 60th year.
Beloved son of the late Claude Bourgeois and Jacqueline Antone-Bourgeois (1995). Loving brother of Monica Bedard of Petrolia, Daniel Bourgeois of St. Catharines, Kenneth Higgins of Mississauga, Sharon Plain of Hamilton, Leonard Plain of Sarnia, and Dennis Bourgeois of Sarnia. Proud uncle Justin and Monique Bedard and his other nieces and nephews. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rick will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Edra McKenna of St. Catharines.
A private family service to celebrate Rick’s life will be held on Thursday at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home. Interment First Oneida Baptist Cemetery, Oneida, Ontario. www.elliottmadill.com
