Obituary of Richard Elliott Senior
Richard George Elliott Senior, of Walkerton formerly of Teeswater, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chelsey on Friday, November 12th, 2021, at the age of 78.
Loving husband of Joan Irving-Elliott.
Dear father of Richard and Barb Elliott of Teeswater, Debbie and Murray Collins of Teeswater, Norman and Amancia Elliott of Labrador City and Mike Elliott, Cindy McDermid of Kincardine, Andrew (Cathy) Irving of Shallow Lake and Ian (Patricia) Irving of Brampton.
Missed by grandchildren, Jennifer (Neil), Bill, Joe (Staci), Heather (Jody), Tom (Cecila), Kevin (Jodi), Matthew (Sarah), Andrew (Mick), Gleeza (Edgie), R-Jay (Janine), Tyler (Crystal), Lindsay, Makaylah, Addison, Aidan and Kaitlin and 21 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his parents Robert & Gertrude (née Turner) Elliott and his first wife, Margaret Elliott (2014).
One of his many accomplishments was tearing down the old grandstand in Teeswater, to then build the one standing there today.
Following Richard’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A private family celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Lake Huron Fishing Club or Chelsey Hospital Foundation Projects would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
