Obituary of Richard Bell Ness
It is with heavy hearts of the family of Mr. Richard “Dick” Ness announce his peaceful passing from the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 14, 2021, at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Bell) Ness.
He will live on in the hearts of his loving wife, Alice (Knox) Ness; his son, Matthew of Fredericton; his daughter, Patricia of Sus; his grandson, Griffin; his sisters: Beth Nelson and her husband Darrell of Pictou, Heather Kenny and her husband Brad of Nanaimo and Lorraine English and her husband Barry of Hammond River; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers: Russell and Ross.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, (506-433-1176) from where visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Dick’s life will be held from St. Paul’s United Church on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 11:00am. The interment will take place in Roachville Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetic Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences to the family and donations may be made through WallaceFuneralHome.com
