Obituary of Richard Allen Hazlett
HAZLETT, RICHARD ALLEN
It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Allan Hazlett announces his passing which occurred on Saturday, February 13th, 2021, Richard passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family. Richard of Estey’s Bridge, N.B. Born on October 3, 1945 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Leslie and Phyllis (Warton) Hazlett.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Campbell) Hazlett of 50 years; sons, Allan Hazlett (Heather) of Moncton, NB and Billy Hazlett of Estey’s Bridge, NB; sister, Kim Campbell of Hartland, NB; grandchildren Mitchell and Chelsea Hazlett. Richard was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Riley, Judy Hallett and Sharon Carrier; brother Reggie Hazlett.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his family at home as well and taking leisurely drives and outings with Brenda, Richard enjoyed nature and all it has to offer.
In keeping with Richard’s wishes there will be a graveside burial in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
