Richard Holler 2021

Obituary of Richard Holler
Richard (Rick) Michael George Holler
April 23, 1960 – December 5, 2021
It is with shattered hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, Rick, at the
age of 61 on December 5, 2021. Beloved son to Ralph and Mary Holler and brother to Theresa
(Femi), Thomas and James (Andrea) Holler. Father to Joshua and Erik. Adored uncle to Elliott,
Charlotte, Emilia and Bennett. He was a loyal friend and confidante to many, a willing partner
in crime to some, and a respected colleague and business leader to his peers.
Rick left his mark through his work as a partner at Canadian Home Leisure, where he prided
himself on strong management, excellent customer service and an encyclopedic knowledge of
his craft. He had a deep love for travel, fishing and the Toronto Maple Leafs, remaining an
eternal optimist that a Stanley Cup win was only a season away. Rick loved his friends and
family and was loved in return. He will be deeply missed and remembered always. May his
memory be eternal.
“Those we love don’t go away.
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard but always near.
Still loved, still missed and forever dear”
Visitation will be held on Saturday December 18, 2021 from 11:00-1:00pm. A funeral service will follow
at 1pm in the DeStefano Chapel, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa.
As per the family’s request, vaccine passports will be required to attend the visitation and funeral.
For those unable to attend in person, a Virtual Service will be available for viewing. Please visit this page on Saturday at 12:30 to view.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Richard Holler 2021..
