Obituary
With profound sadness, the family of Morley Schultz announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather on December 31, 2020. Morley was born near Bruderheim, AB on December 12, 1931 to Gustave and Minnie Schultz. He was the third of five children who grew up on the farm, attended the country school and later school in ‘town’. After working at various jobs in Edmonton, Morley enrolled in the Christian Training Institute where he met the love of his life, Joyce Miller. They were married in 1953 and moved to Winnipeg where Morley would continue his training for pastoral ministry at Winnipeg Bible College.
After faithfully serving congregations in Saskatchewan, Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba, Morley and Joyce retired to Calgary in 1994. They established lifelong friendships wherever they lived.
Morley loved God. He modelled love, patience, and self-sacrifice. He was an avid reader, loved music, and kept up with current events. More than anything, he loved to sit and talk with his kids and grandkids.
Morley leaves behind his children Marshall (Janice), Wendy (Rick) Ohlhauser, Ken (Elaine); and Murray (Paula), as well as 9 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also mourning his passing are his brother Allan (Mona); his sister Grace MacAlister; and many nieces and nephews. Morley was predeceased by his dear wife Joyce in 2019, as well as his brothers Donald and Wesley.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, the details of which will be announced.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Calgary South Health Campus Unit 68 staff and to Dr. Brian Pedersen for the compassionate care shown to Dad and to us during this trying time.
