COX, Rev. Dr. John Stanley “Stan” (1936 – 2021) – surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021 in his 85th year. Cherished husband of Sharon Cox (nee Murphy) of Waterford. Loving father of the late Bill Cox, the late infant John Mark, Kristen Ghesquiere (Dr. Mark) of Simcoe, Amy Ferreira-Iwanochko (Dr. Mark) of Toronto and Jeff Cox (Karoline) of Troy. Proud grandfather & great grandfather of Michael, Madi, Sophie, David Macio, children Hailey, Taylor & Grace; Jordi (Sarah), daughters Dahlia & Ruby; and Rafi, son Dominic. Stan will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Donald Cox (Beth) of Quebec, Ken Cox of Paris and Gord Cox (Ellie) of Hanover. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends are invited to share their memories of Stan with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. In following the Covid19 government guidelines for funerals, anyone wishing to attend visitation must pre-register by calling the funeral home at (519) 426-0199 between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. to book a time or by email at jason@smithfuneralchapel.com Time slots will be booked in 15-minute increments. Facial coverings are mandatory. A private family service will be held with interment at Grove Cemetery, Dundas.
