Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, July 30, 2021. Reta Irene (Cowell) Woods, at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of Kenneth and dear mother of Charlotte ( David ) Reid and Donald (Margaret) Spracklin. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Melissa Hoogenraad (Al), Tessa and Jesse Spracklin and by her great grandchildren Nicholas, Keegan, Brayden and Marlo. Fondly remembered by Ken’s children Ken Jr; Bonnie Weima and Mark Woods and by Margaret’s children Christine, Robert and Matthew. Reta was predeceased by her parents Ida and Ernest Cowell and by her siblings Norman, Mervyn, Howard, Cecil, Gordon,Roy,Edna, Ruby and Mildred.
Family and friends will be received at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Rd. 15, Maitland on Monday, August 9th from 11am until 1 pm when a celebration of Reta’s life will be held in the Chapel. Inurnment will follow in the Tower Columbarium. In memoriums to St. James Anglican Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
