Reno “Scott”‘s Obituary
GAUL, Reno “Gaul” ~ age 67 of Middleton, NS passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Scott was born January 10, 1954 and he was the foster son of the late Roddy and Julia (Hillier) Weir of Melvern Square / Spa Springs, NS. Scott worked for many different people and businesses in the community. Scott loved his truck, travelling the trails whether on his four wheeler or snowmobile and working and tinkering in his shed. He will be sadly missed by his siblings of his foster family. Surviving are Carrol Lillian Tracz, Lower Sackville; Cheryl Anne Weir, Halifax; Roddy Weir, Wilmot; Jessie Ethelyn Cloutier, Wilmot; Andrew Robar, Carleton Place, Ontario. Many thanks to Natalie Lewis, Lisa Thurber and Hugh and Vi MacLellan as well as many others who took care of Scott. Heart felt thank you to Dr. Michele Saxon for all her care shown to Scott over the years, staff of the Halifax Infirmary and most recently EHS Paramedics, Middleton Fire Department and Dr. P. Murphy and Middleton Funeral Home that were helpful and cared for Scott. In keeping with Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Private interment will be held at a later date. Donations in Scott’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
