Obituary
Surrounded by family Renee passed peacefully at Haven Hill Retirement Center, Penticton from a short-term illness.
Renee was born in Brive, France and moved to Canada in 1958. Renee will be remembered by her daughter Nathalie (Tom) and her sons Gillen (Nancy), Pierre (Erin). She is fondly missed by her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Renee was predeceased by her husband Edmund and daughter Corinne. Upon arriving in Canada Renee started as an Interior Decorator and then took time off to raise her 4 children. She had a long career as an owner and manager of restaurants in Summerland, Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby. She was active in the community and loved the arts working with the Caravan Farm Theatre, Runaway Moon Theatre, O’Keefe Ranch and charities.
Renee loved to garden and taking care of her Great Pyrenees dogs, she even knitted a hat from their fur.
She really enjoyed her last years at Haven Hill where she watched over her pod mates like an angel and she will be truly missed by staff and residents.
Renee’s Celebration of Life will be held at Enderby Evangelical Chapel, 708 Mill Ave., Enderby 11:00 a.m. November 13th. Attendance is limited due to Covid restrictions.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Caravan Farm Theatre or Runaway Moon Theatre. Memories may be shared by visiting www.everdenrust.com
