Renato Secondo DiBattista, at the untimely age of 41, has joined his family in Heaven where his body and soul are finally at peace. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank & Toni, whom he loved beyond words. Renato is survived by his brother Silvano, his wife Natalie and their son Dominic who will fondly remember his Zio’s playful spirit and warm-hearted affection. The outpouring of love and support from Renato’s friends and relatives here in Guelph, Toronto, Windsor, and in Italy has been truly incredible. Renato’s family would like to thank everyone for their generosity, thoughtfulness and assistance during this difficult time.
Public visitation with Covid restrictions will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Monday, March 22nd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm; those planning to attend the visitation and/or funeral must RSVP at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com or call the funeral home at 519-821-5077 to reserve a time for visitation. A funeral mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady on Tuesday, March 23rd at 10:00am. Private interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that a donation be made in Renato’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
