Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès soudain de Rena Carrier à l’âge de 80 ans, le samedi 23 janvier 2021, à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district. Rena avait une très grande foi chrétienne et elle pensait toujours aux autres, avant elle-même. Elle a servi comme sacristaine à l’église Nativité-de-Marie de Moonbeam pendant plusieurs années et était membre du Club de l’Âge d’Or, l’U.C.F.O et la Coopérative de Moonbeam.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille, Lucie Dussault (Alain) de Moonbeam; deux sœurs : Liette Deshernais de Dosquet, Québec et Henriette Lamothe (Claude) de Cochrane; ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Philippe Carrier (Jacqueline), Lise Carrier, Jeanine Carrier, Pauline Viau tous de Cornwall, Bertha Rivard d’Iroquois Falls et Jacqueline Lamoureux de Fort Erie; ses amies : Jeanne, Hélène, et Chantal; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Léo-Paul; quatre enfants : Noël, Rosanne, Rachelle et Lorraine; deux frères : Damien et Valerien Quevillon; et ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : Jean-Marie, Jeanne, Liguorie, Peggy, Lorenzo, Yvon, Raymond, Roméo, Lilianne Carrier, Jeanne Quevillon, Rosaire Deshernais, Paul Rivard, et Pierre Lamoureux.
La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu en l’église Nativité-de-Marie à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Hôpital de Smooth Rock Falls ou l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district. ©
We regret to announce the death of Rena Carrier at the age of 80 years, on January 23, 2021, at the Timmins & District Hospital. Rena displayed a strong Christian faith and always thought of others before her own self. She served as ton at Nativité-de-Marie church in Moonbeam for many years, and was a member of the Golden Age Club, the U.C.F.O,and the Moonbeam Cooperative.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Lucie Dussault (Alain) of Moonbeam; two sisters: Liette Deshernais of Dosquet, Quebec and Henriette Lamothe (Claude) of Cochrane; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Philippe Carrier (Jacqueline), Lise Carrier, Jeanine Carrier, Pauline Viau all of Cornwall, Bertha Rivard of Iroquois Falls and Jacqueline Lamoureux of Fort Erie; her dear friends: Jeanne, Hélène, and Chantal; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Léo-Paul; four children: Noël, Rosanne, Rachelle and Lorraine; two brothers: Damien and Valerien Quevillon; and her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jean-Marie, Jeanne, Liguorie, Peggy, Lorenzo, Yvon, Raymond, Roméo, Lilianne Carrier, Jeanne Quevillon, Rosaire Deshernais, Paul Rivard, and Pierre Lamoureux.
The funeral service will be held at Nativité-de-Marie church at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital or the Timmins and District Hospital would be greatly appreciated. ©
