Reina Lilko Tuesday October 26th 2021

Reina Juliette passed away peacefully at Lasalle residence at the inspiring age of 93. She was surrounded by the love of her family and reunited with Joe, her much loved husband, and Cecile, her beloved sister.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Christine, Edward (Celine), Randall (Ingrid) and Gregory (Laura). Precious grandmother of Lesley (Craig), Joel (Shannon), James (Aimee), Chad (Lisa), Jeffrey (Lisa), Jonathan (Rita), Gregory (Rachel), Matthew (Christina), Lear and JP. Reina was also the great-grandmother of twelve cherished great-grandchildren.
Reina was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers and sister as well as many in laws.
Remembered fondly by sister-in-law Helen Lilko, brother-in-law George Langlois and lifelong friend Rita King.
Reina was born in Blue Sea, Quebec and moved to Timmins as a child. She went to school, got married and raised a family there. She was married to Joe for 65 years. They retired to Milton, Ontario.
Mom proudly worked for the Legal Aid Society of Timmins for many years, always having been very interested in the legal field.
Reina’s biggest success will always be her love of family. She was the “bestest” grandma.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Lebel as well as the amazing staff at the Lasalle Residence.
The family is so very grateful to Reina’s daughter (in-law) Celine Lilko who lovingly and compassionately cared for our mom on this last journey of her life story. There are no words to thank her, other than to say she is an angel in disguise. She made mom feel safe, loved and special.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Due to Covid, a small private family service will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 11am which will be livestreamed on our funeral home Facebook page. Reina will be interned in Milton, Ontario.
Remembrance donations in lieu of flowers to Canadian Legion Branch #136 in Milton Ontario or to the charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated.
Our wonderful memories of you, Mom, will carry us forever. We love you, say hi to Tippy.
