Rehorst Helen nee Weitzenbauer January 26th 2021

Rehorst, Helen (née Weitzenbauer)
January 26th, 2021
Passed away peacefully at her home, with her son, Jacob, by her side, on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, after a two-year battle with cancer, fought bravely with courage, strength, and perseverance. She is remembered for her unwavering positivity, kindness, and desire to spread love to friends or strangers. She is survived by her children: Jacob (Joel), Matthew (Kathryn), and Kassandra (Trevor); grandchildren: Jessica, Alyssa, Mason, Lyla, Logan, and Theodore; siblings: Ralph (Sylvia), Margit (Randy), and Ingrid (Greg); nieces, Jessica and Josie; and grandnephew, Koen. Predeceased by her father Peter and mother Ann. Helen loved her family and friends more than anything; they brought her the most joy, with many friends being considered family. Her joy and warmth are truly irreplaceable. In Helen’s memory, her family encourages you to treat everyone with kindness and compassion. A small private service will be held, with a celebration of Helen’s life to be held at a later date, as Helen wanted everyone she loved and shared her light with to be in one place to share memories and love. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in her name to the London Regional Cancer Program: lhsf.ca/ways-give/memory.
