Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Victoria Hospital, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Bill Redman, of London passed away, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Dickson), for 29 years. Loving father of Mike Redman, and Paul (Janet) Redman, all of London; stepfather of Laura Pollard, Gail Thomas, and Scott (Debbie) Dickson, all of London; and Rob Dickson, of Raleigh, North Carolina. Proud grandfather of Lisa Jackson, Chris Redman, and Brad Redman, all of London; Neil Pollard, of Parker, Colorado; Lyndsay Pollard, of Hamilton; Blaine Dickson and Charlie Dickson, both of Raleigh, North Carolina; and great-grandfather of Owen and Evan Jackson, of London; Noelle, London, and Maggie Pollard, of Parker, Colorado; and Norah and Jack Patchett, of Hamilton, Ontario. Bill was predeceased by his former wife, Stella Redman; his parents, Albert and Louise Redman; his brothers, Albert, Bud, and Jack Redman; and his sisters, Marjorie Tilford and Audrey Fenwick. Bill grew up in London and graduated from H.B. Beal Tech School. He started his business career at age 12, by delivering for grocery and drug stores, and selling newspapers on the corner. He later enlisted in the army. Bill started his own machine shop at the age of 29, then continued on with Redman Machine, Pre Delco Machine and Tool Limited, and London Precision Machine & Tool Limited. He enjoyed a successful business career and retired in 1994. Bill enjoyed spending time with his card-playing and golf buddies. He was a member of Sunningdale Golf & Country Club, and Highland Country Club. He and Margaret enjoyed several winters in Sarasota, Florida, at Laurel Oak Country Club. The family would like to give sincere thanks to Dr. Dorli Herman, Dr. Elana Matusa, the doctors and staff of the Trauma Unit at Victoria Hospital, and Fox Hollow Retirement Residence for their unforgettable attention shown to Bill. A private family service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Lung Health Foundation.

Bill LandreyDear Mike and Marg- our sincere condolences on Bill’s passing. I really enjoyed the card games with him. He was an exceptional player and gave us all good competition. On top of that, he was a nice man and a good friend. I will miss him. I hope that all the good memories you have will be of comfort to you. Bill and Barb Landrey
