Raymond Joseph Joubert 1952 2021

Obituary of Raymond Joseph Joubert
It is with heavy hearts we announce Ray’s sudden passing.
Ray was born in Regina and raised in Montmartre, Saskatchewan. He attended the University of Saskatchewan earning his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1974.
He soon discovered his passion for regulatory pharmacy, devoting over 40 years to the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (Saskatchewan Pharmaceutical Association) for the advancement of pharmacy provincially, nationally and internationally, and receiving numerous awards throughout his distinguished career.
His dedication to the profession of pharmacy was only exceeded by his love for and devotion to his family. Ray loved spending time at the cottage boating and fishing, whale watching and snorkeling on Maui and more recently travelling and camping with his retirement motorhome and fulfilling his new passion for pickleball.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Helene; brother Paul; brother-in-law Larry Riffel and father-in-law Howard Jackson he leaves to mourn his wife of 44 years, Shelley; son Mark (Kirsten); daughter Michelle (Tyler) Pool; sisters Evelyne Riffel and Denise (Bill) Code; his extended family, mother-in-law Gwen, Donna (Ron) Braithwaite, Terry (Janet) Jackson; many special nieces and nephews; and eight wonderful grandchildren, whom he loved with all his heart, Jackson, Mireille, Colton, Nolan, Aubrey, Joseph, Leo and Xavier.
Special thanks to the SHA Palliative Care team. To the nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, home care, doctors you could not have been more caring and kind. Nurses Travis, Shanna, Ailyn, Kim and Ashley we will always remember your care and compassion through his final days both at home and on Unit 3A.
