Obituary of Raymond E. Lear
Raymond E. Lear age 87 of Horseheads, New York passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2021 . He was born November 28, 1933 in Olean, NY the son of the late Joseph and Naomi Chase Lear. Raymond was a Korean War veteran serving his country with The U.S. Marine Corps. He was also pre-deceased by his son Daniel J. “D.J.” Allen II , his grandson Daniel J. Allen, and his brother Mark Lear. Raymond married his wife Marilyn S. Waltimire Lear on July 12, 1970 and they celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary July 12 , 2021. He was a retired truck driver and loved videography. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn S. Lear; daughter and son-in-law: Donna Marie and Dean Price of Georgetown, SC ; grandchildren : Nicholas Charles Forehand and his fiancé Jessica Lisinski of Buffalo, NY , Jacob Allen and Aaron Allen both of Elmira, NY; sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Richard Millhollen of Tyrone, NY ; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carol and Shep Emerson of Erin, NY , Charles Waltimire and Lynn Waltimire both of Elmira, NY, Thomas Waltimire of Jacksonville, Florida ; several nieces , nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Raymond’s Services at on Wednesday July 21, 2021 at 1 PM at Woodlawn National Cemetery 1825 Davis Street Elmira, NY where Full Military Honors will be accorded Mr. Lear.
