Raymond Albert Cyre (Sr.)
(August 21, 1936 – February 11, 2021)
Raymond Albert Cyre (Sr.) of Sherwood Park, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the age of 84 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Brenda (Vince) Welk of Sherwood Park, Liana (Roy) Enslev of Sherwood Park, Raymond (Koreen) Cyre of Camrose, Nina Cyre (Chuck Price) of Sherwood Park, and Annette Cyre (Glenn Goodwin) of Sherwood Park; six grandchildren; and brother Armand (Florence) Cyre of Edmonton.
Raymond was predeceased by his father Edward; mother Henrietta; infant brother Roger; brothers Eugene, Victor, Gilbert, Lucien, Paul, and George; sister Yvonne Girard; and loving companion Betty.
A private family service will be held. Inurnment will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2021, on the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church website stfxcamrose.caedm.ca/ and a recording of the funeral mass will be available on the St. Francis Xavier Church website under “Recorded Masses”.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Raymond Sr.’s memory may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, or to the charity of one’s choice.
