MONCTON, NB –
Raymond Richard, 93, of Moncton passed away peacefully at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Wednesday, February
3rd, 2021. Born in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Basil and Josephine
(Richard) Richard.
Raymond leaves to mourn his loving wife of 66 years,
Aline (Babineau); his daughter, Yvette Richard of St. Anselme; his two
grandchildren, Greg and Andrea; as well as his great grandson,
Dobhi.
Raymond will also be sadly missed by his brother, Br.
Gérard Richard of Sherbrooke, QC and by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by two
sisters, Irène Babineau and Thérèse
Babineau and two brothers, Alphonse Richard and Mgr. Arsène
Richard.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the visitation and
funeral service will be delayed. An updated obituary with complete
arrangements will be posted at www.thompsonsfuneralhome.com once
the restrictions allow for
services.
Arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto.
