Obituary for
Raymond “Ray” Chartrand
The family announces with sorrow his death at the Timmins and District Hospital – St-Mary’s site on Monday, November 22, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Cherished father of Edith Collinson (David), Shawn Quast (Rhonda), Lisa Chartrand (Steve), Lee Chartrand (Gail) and Laurie Tremblay (Daniel). Ray was a very proud grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Emmanuel and Edith Chartrand and his son Roger (Vicky).
The family would like to thank the nurses and all the staff at the TDH St-Mary’s site for the care and compassion given to both Ray and the family. Special thank you to Dr. Hopkins.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 150 Balsam St. S. Timmins
