1936-2021
REXTON, NB – It is with great sadness that the
family announces the peaceful passing of Raymond Perry 84, at his
residence on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born in Rexton, he was
the son of the late Adolph Perry and late Anastasie (Richard)
Perry. Before retiring, Raymond was employed at the
Department of Transportation for 24 years. He attended the
Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Rexton. He
was a member of the Richibucto Legion Branch # 30 and the Golden Age
Club.
Raymond will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 58 years,
Nancy (Campbell) Perry of Rexton; one daughter, Angie Perry (Mike) of
Shediac River; two sons, Mark Perry (Margaret) of Bass River Point,
Ritchie Perry (Pauline) of Moncton; eight grandchildren, Billy-Joe,
Bonnie, Scott, Ashton, Matthew, Shawn, Brad, Laura and great
grandchildren, Cody, Emmy, Easton and many nieces and
nephews.
The last surviving member of his immediate family, he was
predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Rita, Anne and two brothers,
Tim and Donat.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and Raymond’s wishes
there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private
funeral mass will be held at a later date. In lieu of
flowers donations to the Kent County Community Volunteer Action Food
Bank or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the
family.
The family wish to express a sincere thank you to the Extra
Mural nurses for their kind & compassionate care of
Raymond.
