(1936 – 2021)
Raymond passed away peacefully in Leamington on August 28, 2021 from Alzheimer’s related complications. He is survived by his beloved sister Corinne Marcoux, his brother, Victor St. Pierre and wife Rita of Lakeshore, and sister-in-law Dorothy St. Pierre in London, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Raymond is now reunited with the family and friends who predeceased him: his parents, Edouard and Alphonsine St. Pierre, his loving sister, Marie Estelle Lewis; his twin brother Edmond St. Pierre; his sister, Claire Marie Comartin, his sister-in-law Lucille St. Pierre and his brothers-in-law, Raynald Marcoux, Jack “Jerry” Lewis and Jean Paul Comartin.
Raymond was educated in Windsor and in Montreal and was employed as a pension/benefits administrator at Kelsey-Hayes in Windsor. He was a long-time resident of East Gate Estates and, eventually, the Sun Parlor Home in Leamington, where he received outstanding and devoted care.
Interment will be at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery, Tecumseh. In keeping with Raymond’s instructions and mindful of COVID 19 restrictions, there shall be no viewing, but a Memorial shall take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
