Raymond’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of the late Raymond George Nichols announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at the age of 90 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Pearl nee Chaulk of 62 years, his children; Dean (Marie), Donna (Neil), Tina (Wayne), Eddie (Sue), Chad (Phoebe), Lisa (Jeremy), and Shawn (Michelle), his 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, his sisters; Daisy Westwood, Jessie Coish, Effie Rowsell, Hilda (John) Washington, and Amy (Alex) Hancock, Raymond was predeceased by his parents; Grace and Edgar Nichols, his brother; Russell, his sisters; Janet (Jack) Hodder, Ivy (Gerald) Hodder, Emma Simms, and Bertha (Vernon) Wright, his brothers-in-law; Ross Westwood, Milton Coish, and Raymond Rowsell, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
The family will be having a private family visitation, on Monday, January 25th, 2021, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, at Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, at 2:00 pm, from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake, NL, with Majors Henry & Beatrice Bingle officiating, with the burial to follow at the family plot of the Nicholsville Cemetery on Goose Arm Road.
