The family of Raymond Donald Hunt announces with sadness his passing on April 28th, 2021. He passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at Moog & Friends Hospice in Penticton, BC. Raymond was born in Geraldton, Ontario on January 24, 1943
Raymond leaves behind his family from Thunder Bay, ON daughter Penny, son Todd, grandchildren Daniel (Brandi), Bradley (Kayla), Ethan, great granddaughter Millie, brothers Durwin (Mary)of Kaleden BC, Jim (Gail), of Summerland BC. Raymond was predeceased by his father Ralph Miller Hunt and his mother Florence Abby Hunt (Kenzle).
Raymond grew up in Swan River, Manitoba. He excelled in various sports, played Junior hockey in Brandon and Winnipeg.
Ray was a person who experienced many careers…stationery engineer, construction, finance, herbal medicines.
The last number of years he wintered in Melaque, Mexico. He will be missed by his bridge partners and many amigos.
Raymond was a free spirited individual. “He did it HIS way”
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Penticton Regional Hospital and Moog & friends Hospice for their compassionate care.
