Obituary of Ralph Louis Williams
Williams: Ralph Louis –
A resident of Chatham, Ralph Williams passed away at the Riverview Gardens on August 14, 2021 at the age of 85.
Born in Chatham, Ralph was the son of the late Garnet and Thelma (Henson) Williams.
Beloved husband of 36 years to Irene Williams (nee Knapp).
Loving father to Randy (Janice) Williams, Curtis Williams, the late Blake Williams, Karrie Williams, and step father to Tammy (Dale) Storey, and E.J. (Loretta) Storey.
Grandfather to 15 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Brother to Kathy Jenkins.
Brother in law Luella (late Mac) Elliott, and Bill (Nancy) Knapp.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and many many friends.
Ralph will be remembered for his years working at Canada Post, his years of volunteering for many organizations throughout the community, and was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 642.
Visitation will take place at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St, Tuesday August 17 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. A private legion service will be held for the family at 6:30pm. A private family service will be held on Wednesday Aug 18 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jamie Tiffin officiating. The service will be live streamed through the following link: vimeo.com/event/1205751.
A burial will take place at Maple Leaf Cemetery following the service.
