ELLISON, Ralph
July 16, 1959 – December 7, 2021
Ralph Ellison was born July 16, 1959, and went to sleep in Jesus on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Right out of high school Ralph went into construction and there found his knack for drywalling and home building, doing this for many years. His construction skills can be seen all over Canada.
His father taught him to play guitar at a very young age and he shared this talent throughout his life especially in he and Sharon’s ministry. At the age of 37 Ralph was called into ministry and went back to school to complete his degree in theology, thus becoming an ordained pastor for the Seventh-Day Adventist church where He shared Jesus until his passing.
Ralph was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Delores; his stepfather, Daniel; brother, Allen; nephew, Jared; and niece, Laura Lynn.
Ralph leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife of 20 years, Sharon, and Buddy their cat; his sisters, Carol (Randy) of Ponoka, Melody (Bob) of Rimbey and Mary (Ivan) of Drayton Valley; sisters-in-law, Cathy of Olds and Pat (Dave) of Estevan; brother-in-law, John (Gloria) of Estevan; as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and numerous friends, and cousins, as well as his beloved church family.
Pastor Ralph was a happy, ougoing, energetic TEASE, who had a real zest for life. His Laugh was infectious and his heart warm, always looking to help who he could. He was quite a joker and was always teasing someone, especially the little ones. The children loved him and will cherish those moments chasing Uncle Ralph around, wrestling, being tickled, or whisker rubbed.
Ralph loved the Lord and longed for all his family and friends to be ready to meet Jesus when He comes to take His children home.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ralph William Ellison December 7th 2021..
