It is with great sadness the Baker family announces the passing of their husband, father, and grandfather. Ralph Harvey Baker of Chatham, in his 77th year, passed away on Saturday May 22nd, 2021, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance surrounded by his loving family. Cherished son of the late Harvey and Neva Baker. Beloved husband of Patricia for over 52 years. Loving father of Jacqueline Smith, and Scott Baker, both of Chatham. Cherished grandpa of Spencer Baker, Sydnee Baker, Taylor Smith, and Storm Smith. He will fondly be remembered by several nieces and nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by his sisters Sharon Treleaven, and Donna Symington. Ralph retired from Siemens after 30 years of service. He enjoyed many sports, travelling, and camping with family at Leisure Lake and Wildwood By The Lake. Family gathered privately at the funeral home. Cremation to follow with graveside service to be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710.
