Rae R. Hopper
Rae R. Hopper, 98, of Moncton, passed
away peacefully at home on February 2, 2021 following a brief
illness.
Born in Little River, he was the son
of the late Arthur and Ella (Leaman) Hopper. Rae was a loving father,
grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and brother.
He was a member of Five Points Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening,
travelling, camping, golfing and spending time with his
family.
He will be sadly missed by his
children, Judy Mallory (late Ken) of Saint John, Michael Hopper
(Rachel) of Boundary Creek, Monica Crosthwaite (Bill) of Boundary
Creek, Kenneth Hopper (Catherine) of Moncton, Brenda Watling (Ralph)
of Moncton, David Hopper (late Angela) of Colpitts Settlement, Byron
Hopper (Nancy) of Synton, Janice Phillips (Andy) of Moncton; as well
as 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 5 great great
grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister,
Marion Morson of Victoria, BC, sisters-in-law, Ella Hopper (late Jack)
of Saint John and Phyllis Chambers (late Henry) of
Petitcodiac.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his wife, Lillian (Perry) Hopper, grandson, Kevin
Crosthwaite and sister-in-law, Donna (Perry) Cromwell (late
Corey).
Due to the current circumstances with
COVID-19, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. A
private family interment will be held at a later date in Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.
