Peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Mackenzie Health Hospital, Richmond Hill, ON, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Loving wife of the late Eraklis. Loving mother of Michael, James, and Paul. Devoted grandmother of Andrew, Jason, Amy, Jack, and Alex. Rachel came to Canada in the 50’s to start a new life and succeeded in all manners. Eraklis came to Canada around the same time, and the two met at a golfball factory called Campbell Sporting Goods. They quickly fell in love despite a language barrier with Eraklis only speaking Greek and Rachel only speaking English. They enjoyed travel during their time together, especially regular trips back to Ireland, and enjoyed cottage life at Georgian Bay. Funeral service will be held on Thursday November 25th at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Masks, proof of ID and double vaccination are mandatory. Contact tracing will be collected at the door. Interment Elgin Mills Cemetery.
