1939-2021
With heavy
hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and
sister, (Ruth) Viola Cook,
formally of Sackville, NB. Viola passed away in Salmon Arm,
BC, on January 21, 2021. Viola was born at
home in Aulac, NB, to Hazel Mae (Bowser) Carter and Percy Gordon
Carter.
Viola loved flowers and gardening and was a terrific cook
and baker. She and her husband, Edward, spent many years
RV-ing through North America. During their travels, they met many
people and thoroughly enjoyed the multitude of things they saw and
did.
She will be forever missed and always in our
hearts.
Viola is predeceased by her son Derek. She is survived by
her loving husband Edward of Salmon Arm, BC; her
daughter Janet (Dave) of Comox, BC; her son Roger (Sherri) of
Surrey, BC; her grandchildren, Adam, Noah, Sophie, and Bronwen. Viola
is also survived by her brother Fred Carter of Sackville; her sisters,
Susie Vincent of Dartmouth, NS, and Julie (Leonard) Godin of Prince
George, BC as well as a niece and several
nephews.
Honouring the family’s request, there will be no
services.
