PITTMAN WILLIAM JAMES JIM 2021

January 14, 1949- April 26, 2021
It is with great sadness that we, the family of William James (Jim) Pittman of Plum Point, announce his passing on the morning of April 26, 2021 at Rufus Guinchard Memorial Hospital at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Jane (nee young); children: Michael (Tina) and Betty (Todd); stepchildren: Gary (Rupa) and Rick (Roxanne); grandchildren: Alexis, Dillon, Emily, Caitlin, Evan, Hailey and Vanessa; siblings: Michael John (Madelon), Theresa (Bud), Mary (John Joe), Primus (Christine), Ronald (Gloria), Sheila (Hughie), Melvin (Mary), Maurice (Wanda), Eileen (Matthias), Christine and Lorraine (Lawrence). As well he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents Christopher and Bridget Pittman and brother-in -law Royal Gibbons. Viewing at the Church of The Advent, Plum Point. His family would like to thank the staff of Rufus Guinchard Hospital for their care and compassion. The funeral (COVID restrictions in place) will be held on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lorne Gosse officiating. Interment to follow in the Anglican cemetery in Pond Cove. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre’s Funeral Home in St. Anthony, Lee Nippard Funeral Director.
