Phillip Gallie
Passed away suddenly at work in Yarmouth, NS., Phillip Frank Gallie 53, formerly of Dalhousie and a twelve year resident of Charlo. He was the son of Phillip Gallie of Dalhousie and Jean Goupil Nichol (Hal) of Charlo; brother of Judy Gallie (Carl LaPointe) of Charlo, Todd of Ontario; nephew of Katrina Gallie Gionet (Jake Preston) and their children Averie and Thomas as well his long time companion of twenty eight years Monique Sullivan. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles Linda Goupil, Sheila Goupil Landry (Jacques), Carol Ann Goupil Poirier, Patsy Goupil Murphy, Ina Goupil Arseneault (Luc), Joanne Goupil, Shelly Goupil Lavoie (Eric), Bertha Arseneault Gallie, Ann Gallie Berube, Mary Lou Gallie Ferlatte, Eugene Gallie (Janet Strong) as well as his many cousins. He was predeceased by his uncles Gilles, Benjamin, Kenneth, Rheal and Roland.
Phillip will be greatly missed by all his fishing friends which was a great joy for him to go on the bay and to all who he had so much pleasure in having a beer with.
There will be no funeral services. For those wishing, donations to a charity of the donors choice in memory of Phillip would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
