SAINT LOUIS, NB – It is with great sadness that the

children and his grandchildren. He had a quick sense of humour and
enjoyed listening to music. In his spare time, he could always be
found reading. He was fascinated by anything scientific or related to
astronomy.

Philias leaves to mourn his two daughters, Manon Goguen (Ghislain
Ouellet) of Riverview and Nancy Goguen (Luc Pouliot) of Rimouski, QC;
his two sons, Christian “Kit” Goguen (Louise) of Dieppe and
Jean-François Goguen (Stephanie) of Summerville; as well as
his nine grandchildren, Chloée, Maxim, Audrée,
Mathias, Krysten, Stephen, Taylor, Sarah and Samuel Philias and his
great-granddaughter, Charlotte.
Philias will also be sadly missed by his two sisters, Yvette
Gignac (Justin) and Rosalie Savard (late Marc), both of Montreal, QC;
his brother, Normand Goguen (Carmen) of St. Ignace; as well as by his
many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Philias was predeceased by an infant
daughter, Marie; two sisters, Alice Guimond and
